Description
Vetafarm Triple C – Why We Like It:
Vetafarm Triple C is a water soluble, broad spectrum antibiotic containing the active ingredient Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride. It is a good option in treating respiratory conditions in birds. Because it can affect bone mineralization in young birds/animals we do not recommend it for birds that are not full grown. Tiamulin is an option that is safe for youngsters.
Consult a veterinarian for questions on species specific dosing.
We always recommend giving your animals probiotics after antibiotic use such as Healthline Restore Pro-Biotic or Vetafarm Probiotic to restore healthy bacteria in their digestive system.
Manufacturers Description:
Broad spectrum antibiotics are an essential tool to have on hand when a bacterial infection is suspected but the group of bacteria is unknown or when infection with multiple groups of bacteria is suspected.
Triple C is a broad-spectrum antibiotic powder formulated for use in ornamental birds for bacterial infections. Used as an ideal “first line” antibiotic, Triple C is an easy to use powder that may be added to your birds food or water.
